The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) made new arrangements for comprehensively strengthening strict governance of the party, and further stressed that "to strike iron, one must be tough." In the new era, the party spirit of all party members must be strong in order to win a decisive victory in completing the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects, build a great modern socialist country in all respects, and realize the Chinese dream of the great renewal of the Chinese nation. To strengthen the party spirit cultivation and training of all party members, we should pay attention not only to the pertinence of the content but also to the scientific and systematic methods.

Use the main platform. The main platform for cultivating and exercising party spirit is intraparty political activities. To carry out serious intraparty political activities is not only a fine tradition of enhancing party spirit, but also a crucible of party spirit exercise in the new era. The quality of intraparty political activities is related to the style of party members, the political ecology within the party, and their party spirit. Since the 18th national congress of the CPC, the CPC Central Committee with comrade xi jinping at its core has attached great importance to building a platform for exercising party spirit. The sixth plenary session of the 18th CPC Central Committee kept pace with The Times and adopted several guidelines on inner-party political activities under the new situation. Self-cultivation of party spirit is the self-education, self-reform and self-perfection of party members in the process of transforming the objective world. Strengthen party spirit accomplishment and exercise, exterior expression is to strengthen improve style. The process that party member improves style is to strengthen party spirit accomplishment. Practice has proved that the style of work will not improve naturally with the promotion of party members and the increase of their age, which requires subjective efforts and external supervision. Through criticism and self-criticism, party members constantly accept the supervision of their work style from inside and outside the party and strive to continuously improve their work style. That means party spirit is growing. But party spirit accomplishment cannot stop at improving style of work absolutely. Style of work is the most easy to rebound, the reason lies only in the style of temporary improvement, and style of work out the root cause of the problem lies in the party spirit out of the problem. Therefore, on the basis of improving the style of work, to take advantage of the situation and continue to solve the problem of party spirit of the party members, including whether the principle of party spirit is internalized in the heart and externalized in practice, whether the external factors of weakening party spirit are eliminated and so on.

Play a leading role. It is a universal and lasting requirement for the more than 89 million party members to strengthen their party spirit. It certainly requires the joint efforts of the whole party to strengthen the party itself, but the key lies in the guidance and demonstration of party cadres at all levels. Strengthen party spirit accomplishment, must begin from leading cadre especially senior cadre. This is not only determined by the special position of leading cadres, especially senior cadres, in holding important power, but also required by the special responsibility of leading cadres, especially senior cadres, in playing an exemplary role. The important measure that weighs party spirit is strong and weak, whether treat correctly namely, accept the oversight of the party and people consciously. As long as party members, especially leading cadres at all levels, adhere to the correct view of public interest, they should not be afraid of supervision and should not reject it. On the contrary, they should welcome it and make it the norm. In short, to consciously use the measure of the strength of the party spirit and the level of the two standards, often to test the level of party spirit of the party members themselves, to ensure that the party spirit is constantly enhanced.
